two phrases im trying to bring back

they both sound super pretentious.

if you want to adopt a phrase that's fallen out of common usage, pick something fun and quirky like 86.

I want to make 'as stupid as Fox News' a common phrase..

First.. it tells the world that Fox News is truly about being stupid. Second, it describes a level of stupid that truly stupid people would not understand.

For example...

Paris Hilton is as stupid as Fox News.

Those aren't common phrases , nor are they worthy of "bringing back".

1. never said they were common

2. they were common at one time anyways

3. I think they are worthy!

A "phase" must have some notoriety in order to be considered a "phrase".
Notoriety requires a good amount of public exposure, meaning it could be considered generally common. There is other criteria that should be met, but we need not go insuch depth. Neither of these statements meet the baseline criteria.
Neither statement should be considered common enough to be "brought back"

So we must conclude these statements are nothing more than "sayings" created by drunk frat boys, stoners, groups of girls during sleep overs, alzheimer's ridden seniors, insufferable film students, secular humanists, and astronaut chimpanzees.
