You drive the car.

It is YOUR responsibility to keep the car legal.

And even if you're not the primary driver on the car, if it's not legal, don't drive it!

You drove it so either pay the tickets and help your Mom get the registration current or get your own car and keep it current.

Either way you're in the wrong. You're the one operating the vehicle so you're the one that gets the ticket.

I imagine you'll pay closer attention to your tags in the future. Lesson learned. Now have a soda and chill. 🙂

They will tow the vehicle. Set you out of the vehicle on the side of the road and take it where it will cost you MORE MONEY to retrieve it.

And the registration too. Got 2 days left to get that postmarked.

BTW, I would suggest not paying the ticket and going to court. If you can show that you have gotten the car registered they will probably toss the tickets out. The worst that they will do is make you pay the ticket...
