I'm "upgrading" my parents' PC. Last thing I have to choose b/w is a 1GB XFX 8400GS or EVGA 320MB 8800GTS.

Which video card should I put in their PC?

Athlon64 x2
1GB DDR2
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe (nForce4 chipset)

Just using what's on hand. My Dad plays Starcraft and my Mom likes WoW. They use a single 18" LCD monitor (1280x960).

Are they buying or just using what's on hand? The 8800GTS is a little better.
the 8800gts 320mb is WAY faster that an 8400gs.

unless they are trying to play modern games, just put the 8400gs in there and sell the 8800gts 320mb. also 1gb of system ram will barely cut even for just typical day to day usage.

EDIT: I see you posted while I was replying. 1gb of ram is NOT going to cut it for any modern gaming.
