two old PCI video cards

I was given two old systems, a 166 and a 233. One of them has a S3 Trio 64 (764) PCI graphics card. The other has a S3 Vision 968 PCI graphics card.

I don't know much about these old cards.

I'd like to know which one is better, so I can pair it with the better processor.

thanks

edit:

I just found out that the Trio 64 uses DRAM, and the Vision 968 uses VRAM. Does this mean the latter is better

Nothing there but drivers.

I just tried both of them. Neither can do 1024x768 without looking interlaced. But the VRAM card can do 800x600 @ 75 Hz, while the other maxes out @ 60 Hz.
