Two Nics in a PC. What to do with them? Any speed benefits? Bridging?

Hello,

I recently bought an Nforce 2 motherboard that has an Onboard NIC. I also have a LInksys card in my computer. WHat are the benefits of having two cards in there vs. one?

I only have one OC that is currently on the network the other one a laptop uses a wireless NIC to connect to my wireless router.

I am sorry I should have specified of what I had in the first place.

you can get on 2 lan's with 2 cards, but your internet connection is slower than your NIC's so simutaneous downl oading/bridged cards(if thats possible, i dont know) wouldnt benifit you unless you had 2 cable lines/accounts for 2x as much bandwidth
