Two new fans!

Obviously I'm a rookie.... I have 2 new case fans, i just have no clue how to install them.... i have a 2 pin chord on one, and the other just has 2 spliced wires... any help? Thanx

Did someone give you those junkers, or did they pay you to take them away? When you could buy decent new fans with mounting screws and finger guards for $3. each at SVC.
. The 2 pin cord may be able to fit on a mobo fan connector. Check the pinouts to make sure you connect properly - red wire to 12V, black wire to ground.
. The bare wires will have to be spliced to one of your drive power cords - if it's a 12V or higher fan, then the red wire will go to yellow (12V) and black to black.
. If they came with no mounting screws and your case has no snap-in mounts, use the shortest no.10, pan head sheet-metal screws you can find (3/4 inch or less)- or hot-glue them in.
. That you apparently aren't able to figure this out for yourself might suggest a course of action - sell your tools! 😉
