Two monitors and two video cards.

I have two monitors and recently got a second video card. Currently I have one monitor plugged into my main AMD card (HDMI) and the second plugged into my Nvidia card (DVI). The Nvidia card is used for phys-x only.

Everything works and I can identify both through the AMD CCC panel but would it be better to have both monitors plugged into one card or does it even matter?

Thanks in advance,

I ran my primary monitor on my Radeon 5850 and my secondary monitor off my integrated Intel HD4000. I never had a problem with it, but it still didn't stop my primary card from running at half clocks while playing a game in a windowed mode when I was streaming Flash on the second monitor (not an issue with full screen). I figured that was just a driver thing, but being that it was just WoW and performance was fine, I never bothered with it.

can you run two games at once using a different card for each? like playing dishonored on one screen and borderlands on the other using one amd and one nvidia card?
