Two models of Lian Li PC65?

one site shows the power/reset with some molding in the front: here
and another shows no molding in the front of the same modle lian li: here

is there any way to make sure i get the case i want when ordering? (Don't know if CSR will know or even care to look)

Well, the picture on Lian-Li's website looks like your 2nd link. However, Directron, Mpcparts.com (who specializes in Lian-Li and has the best prices) and a number of other sites I looked at has pictures that look like your 1st link.

I'm used to the way my PC-70 looks (same panel as your 1st link), so to me, your 2nd link looks ugly. To each his own!

You might want to send an email to Directron or mpcparts.com with your links and see what they say.

 
I was wondering the exact same thing. Seems like the 2nd one is the newer one that people have been getting lately. Anyone order from mpcparts or pcmutants care to share which one they got?
 
I got mine about 5 months ago and it looks like the first picture - I don't think it looks ugly whatsoever.
 
I got my PC65 about a month ago, and it was the newer one (with blue and red LED lenses and without plastic surround on front buttons)

(At first, I was surprised and thought that I got a fake one.. but when I looked at all the newer Lian Li PC65 reviews, they looked different than the older PC65/PC60s)

mines from pcmutants.
 
Got mine about 3month ago. Same as the first link. Perhaps they took the surrounding plate off to save cost.
 
Anyone know which one Newegg carries? I was going to buy one from them this week and would prefer the newer one.

I got 4 of the new ones two months ago from egg
