Two minor problems with Win2k..........

I've been using Win2k Pro for about 2 months now and I have two very minor problems I can't get rid of.

1st: When I'm using various programs, occasionally Win2k will go braindead with the mouse. What I mean is clicking with the mouse has no effect on anything. The mouse works (I can move the pointer around and everything) just the button won't work. I figured out that if I ctrl+alt+del my mouse will start working again, but it's sort of annoying to be doing this all the time.

2nd: I can't go into standby more than once before my computer reboots instead of going into standby. Is this a quirk with my motherboard?

1) sounds like some other process or program is running in the background and every once in awhile (*when you have this problem) is uses a lot of cpu time. Try to see what's loading on startup and remove anything you don't need
