For some reason I don't recall ever seeing it. Not that I'm complaining, but I just noticed one always sees male-female and female-female.

Or is it just an LA thing?

I've seen in LA (where I live now), SF (where I use to live) and most places I have travelled to in the US.

The only place you usually see it is on ESPN ;)

Meh...they just cater to the female viewer demographic.

I'm old enough to remember when it was RARE to see a female news person...reporters...occasionally, but never in a "man's job" anchoring the evening news...:rolleyes:

I don't really care, but the female ones I see on the work tv's that are permanently on CNN during the day are hot.

IMHO one of the best national news anchor teams on TV were Harry Reasoner and Howard K. Smith back in the day (1970-1975).
