Two LCD's...?

I got my 710T to replace my streak-crazy 173p today. Thanks to the beauty of cross-shipping I find myself with two LCD's now, the 710T and the 173p, both by Samsung. First, impressions:

173P: Beautiful colors, excellent clarity, perfect for 2D desktop work, word processing, and internet. Bad streaking in Counter-Strike and other fast paced games convinced me to trade it away however.

710T: Marginal streaking at worst, none at best. Color depth in games seems, for some reason, better than the 173p. 2D desktop performance is weak however and even though I spent an hour adjusting it I can't seem to get the text perfect - it's either too sharp it halos and hurts my eyes or its too blurry that it is difficult to read. There is also color depth problems on the desktop.

So...I'm really tempted to just tell the company I bought the 173p from that I'll keep it. I already paid for both monitors - won't get refunded until they recieve the 173p (had to do it this way because otherwise I'd have a monitor-less computer for two weeks). Then I'll have two LCD's. I only worry about the following: deskspace (college dorm coming up in 1.5 months) and cost. I'm having difficulty justifying keeping them both.

What do you guys think?

Oh by the way, one will have to run on analog until I can "step-up" to an ultra in eVGA.

CLIFFS: Have two LCD's, 173p and 710T. Both are great. If you were me would you keep the 173p despite desk space concerns and cost (thereby having dual-monitors) or send it back?

Your decision seems to be motivated only by money and space.
Space: a college dorm desk should do the trick for both screens. Unless you expect to put the case on the desk too. (a case support on rollers can do marvels if there isn't anything to raise it from floor dust)
money: that's where i'm not sure about your decision, being in college you know how expenses can rise fast (my 1st year was like 400$ in books to be bought in 3 days, a few more in the months that came)

But man that dual LCD screen setup is soo cool...
just having a CRT/LCD setup soon makes me feel like a little child that gets his first bike.

As for your difficulties getting the LCD to adjust there's a text smoothing option somewhere in windows visual settings.
