BALDWIN, N.Y. -- Police said two Long Island women were selling more than hot dogs from their roadside stand in Baldwin. Nassau County police have arrested the women for prostitution.
The wiener wagon was parked along Sunrise Highway in Baldwin with signs advertising "hot dogs" and other snacks. But an undercover officer who was checking out a tip about sex Wednesday, said one of the women offered to show her breasts to him for extra money. Police said the officer was also offered sex in the hot dog wagon or in his car.
Police have arrested 38-year-old Catherine Scalia of Rockville Centre and 34-year-old Rose Skorgy of Merrick.
Nassau police said they got a tip last week about the women offering sex.
