Two ISPS one browser

I have a 56k dialup with AT&T and I also have a DSL line with ameritech. Both use Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. The 56k
setup still works as it always had, it automatically opens the browser and goes to its default home page, and outlook express defaults to the mail server for the 56k connection also.
My new DSL connection is not yet set to do anything automatically. Currently when I enable my DSL line and then open
IE it tries to go to the home page for the dialup connection, which it can't do of course so I stop it and go to Anandtech for starters. If I made Anandtech the default home page for IE they would both go there no problem. Same problem with Outlook express, but I can't stop it, I just wait a sec till error mess. then I can
go to the mail server for the DSL connection.
I know how to make either one start the browser automatically
but I can't figure out if there is a way for them to each have their own home page and mail server. There are @ 4 or 6 different
places where there are "profile" or "default" settings.
What is the best way to deal with this ?

"my brain hurts" 🙁

Dunno about giving each ISP its own home page and email account, but you should be able to specify a default connection for each program. Look through the WorldNet connection program settings for an option to disable IE from starting when you log onto their account. I don't remember if they have one (I gave up WorldNet when I got cable), but they might.

Then just open up IE or OE manually.

If I'm missing your point, just say so. Its tough to keep up with your post 🙂
