Two iMacs...

So these new fancy 27 inch iMacs have the ability to accept DP input.

Has anyone considered the possibility of having two of them so one could be dual monitor and one could be headless?

I don't know maybe I'll wait for 30 inch iMacs(*drool*), but I have a very similar setup right now. Two nearly identical computers, one that just sits around and runs things I don't want running on my snappy comp.

1) Dunno if that would work well (headless), but why not just get a second monitor for less money? You can also buy a Mac mini for headless.

2) These are very similar to the 30" monitors in terms of resolution.

30" Cinema Display = 2560x1600.
27" iMac = 2560x1440.

Yea, if you are wanting that much space.... twice, then get the 27" iMac, and then get a Dell 30" display
