Something happened when I was saving this presentation of mine between the network and locally. It ended up that the network version is 7 megs, while the local version is 5.4 megs. So I went through both of them, and they are exactly the same. Same number of slides, same content in the slides, same everything. Why in the hell are they two different sizes? I'm paranoid about presentations because nobody wants to get up there and have technical problems and look like a fool. What the hell is going on?

Did you do a visual comparison or a binary comparison?

There is "garbage" or something else in the larger file. The Powerpoint may be ignoring the additional information.

By doing a binary comparison, you can tell if everything up to the point of the size of the smaller file is the same.

Has this happened before. If not, it may be safer to cust make a new presentation by cutting and pasting from the oone that you feel most comfortable with.
