I'm building a new PC soon that will be used a lot for content creation apps such as Flash, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver. In another thread a while ago I was told that maybe I should spring for two hard drives, using one for the OS and applications and the other for pagefilse/virtual memory and work in progress..Would there be a noticable performance difference? Thanks

Depending on the application, the difference could be quite big. If the file sizes reach maybe half of the ram in the system, seperate physical source and destination drives start to make a lot of sense.

It also depends how fast the system is processing things - e.g. encoding divx it makes no difference, but using virtualdub to play with audio it speeds things up 100-300% in my experience.
