Two Great new albums.

Picked these up after hearing them at a friends house over the weekend. Damn good albums....especially if you like guitar oriented rock.

Bruce Kulick - Transformer Great instrumental tracks that reminds me a lot of Joe Satriani. Also several songs that are excellent. Favorite has to be It's Just My Life.

Wicked UnderGround Damn good album. A very no nonsense rock album. Solid tracks all the way though....great guitar work.

Didn't Kulick play with KISS in the 80's "take-off-the-makeup-and-wear-horrible-neon-spandex-outfits" phase?

Yep....he's a helluva guitarist. I didn't know this new album was out until a friend played it for me. It's really a great listen. I have both albums by the band he formed after his stint in KISS. The band is named Union and both albums are good....the second of the two Union albums, The Blue Room, would have been huge if it were on a major label. It's one of the albums I consider a must have for any guitar rock fan. The Transformer album will probably be joining it in that category soon.

It occurs to me that you might like Talk Show (the Stone Temple Pilots minus Weiland band). They only put out one album that I know of, but it's pretty much straight up blues-based rock. Sounds like it might be up your alley.

That does sound like something I would like....I'll have to look for it and check it out.
