Two friends raved about MGS3... I'm having a hell of a time getting into it...

Yes, the production values are fantastic. The visuals are impressive. The camera angle sucks arse and I'm not enjoying the game much. I've put about an hour into the game and played for about ten minutes.

Sounds like MGS2. I havent played 3 but I heard it was great too. MGS1 was the best. They screwed the pooch when they made MGS2 full of Raiden.

I tried to get into MGS2, didn't float my boat even though people said best. game. ever. :shrug;

Best game ever? Not by a longshot. Play the first. It's incredible.... (dont play Twin Snakes, the Cube remake... just play the original)

mgs1 was perfection, mgs2 was OKAY, and im just waiting for my friends to finish 3 so i can play it, heard its waaaaaaaaay better than 2

DIdn't get into it at all. I was never a fan of the hide for a hour for the guards to be in the right position so i can sneak through in a cardboard box.

I really like the Splinter Cell series on PC.

I have never played 1, played 2 loved it, bought 3 but havent been to fond of it. Also why is everyone impressed by the visuals on it, I dont see them as anything special.

3 is really good, but the first few hours suck, takes awhile to get fully into it. Its also a hell of lot more fun just to kill everyone, I finished with something like 547 enemies killed.

It took me a while to get into, too. Just keep with it & as the story picks up you'll probably be more interested.
