Two fans on 1 power cable?

I have two 120mm fans that I am using for my watercooling setup. One uses a small 4-pin female adapter to plug into the watercooling control unit, the other is a standard molex connector. I want to be able to hook both fans up to the control unit so I can run then at 7v instead of one at 7v and one at 12v. Normally this is how the setup works, but I got sent two fans with seperate power cables instead of one power cable.
