I forget the exact model they are, but I bought them probably less than a year ago. I have one each on two different PCs, that I use more-or-less often. Though, I don't actually game with them per-se, so I'm not "spamming" the mouse click buttons. Just basic Windows' tasks, browsing forums, burning discs, etc.

Anyways, one of them, the mouse wheel after six months or so,.if you scroll the wheel down, it "bounces" back up just as much, so it's pointless to use the scroll wheel when web browsing.

The other one, just tonight, for the most part, now when I click and hold the left mouse button, sometimes, it double-clicks. I was dragging an .ISO file into a folder, and I didn't realize that it double-clicked, and in Win10, that auto-mounts the ISO into a virtual drive (A handy feature, normally). But in this case, since "system" had the file "locked", I couldn't move it. Until I figured that I had auto-mounted it, so I had to eject the virtual drive first.

I think that they have a one year warranty (I hope?), but I discarded most of the packaging. (Just cardboard, and a plastic front shell.)

Am I SOL, or will EVGA take care of me? (If I can't find PoP? I bought them online from BestBuy through ebay, I think.)

I have other mice, but I like the size and feel of these ones. I would accept a refurb back, as long as the buttons and wheel and sensor was working OK.

Edit: Figures. These are the Torx X3L mice, which... aren't even listed on their site. X5L, and X3, sure. But no X3L. Which is now what I'm sure that these are.

Wonder if I got some of the production run of a cancelled product, or it had a short lifespan on the market? I hate buying things, that the parent company doesn't even want to admit that they made.

just got an evga x3l.
~1mm pretravel on left click........ wheel loose, side buttons loose
i didn't plan to use this mouse for anything but still wow..... the quality is so much worse than either of my torq x5 or x5l

for $10 though worth it just for a cable

x3 arriving soon tonight... hopefully it's better

x3 laser(a9500) is on sale for $9.99. best buy store pickup only. not too bad a price imo.

Ok, I'm not crazy, BestBuy DID carry the X3L model. Strange how it's not even listed on EVGA's site anymore, but the other models still are. This one must have been a lemon. :p

Larry, by now you should take this as a law of nature. All scroll wheels end like this. My microsoft wireless mouse acts the same after 2 years of use.

I want my mouse as simple as possible, reliable and precise. Screw those additional mouse buttons!

I want my keyboard stock with no additional(multimedia) keys, reliable and as comfortable as possible when typing. Did you know? You can't enter BIOS with many stupid "open media player key" keyboards. I hate this. They get stuck at "press dell/f2 to enter BIOS".

I did not know that, thanks. I'm guessing it is because the USB keyboard enumerates multiple HID devices, and the BIOS at that early stage can't handle that, they expect to see a single (USB or PS/2) keyboard device.

I know that on my Gigabyte Brix J1900 mini-PC, I cannot enter BIOS unless my keyboard is plugged into the primary USB3.0 hub. I have a secondary hub chained off of that one, and if I plug my keyboard into the secondary hub, the BIOS/UEFI doesn't see it.

3): It has a 3 year warranty per the web site (but you may have to go through Best Buy for the warranty)

I RMA'd a 2-year-old Torq X10 mouse in July. The middle click (wheel) button stopped working.

The replacement went smoothly. EVGA sent a boxed, not bagged, mouse.
