LiteOn 52X IDE or UltraPlex 32x SCSI?

They cost the same, since the LiteOn unit is brand new while the UltraPlex would be a used one from eBay. Which should I buy? Advice within the next hour would be helpful because auction ends in 1-2 hours :)

Im not sure on how the lite-on are. But I really like the 32txi I got. Have been working great for the last 3 years! No hickups at all, reads audio from 14-24X, and reads badly scrached disks well too.

I have put together a few systems lately, but I really can't see any performance increases with the newer 48X, 50X, 52X or whatever it is. And it is usually slower in dae as well.

But then again, the latest lite-on dvd drive got a really nice performance according to Cdspeed. And the plextor drive is probably more than 2 years old, since the 40X version came for more than 2 years ago. But if you had to give the same for either one of them, I would have choosen the lite-on. Warranty and such can really come in handy.
