This will be my first projector, it's for a living room that is pretty well lit. I have two choices in projector. The first being 16:10 Native Aspect Ratio, 3400 Lumens, 20,000:1 Contrast Ratio. The second is 16:9 Native, 2500 Lumens, 13,000:1 Contrast Ratio. I also plan on buying an a screen for either option, somewhere around 125 inches.

The main use of the projector will be cable tv and an xbox. With the high lumens and contrast ratio, my first thought is to go with the first option, but the native 16:10 throws me off. The games and cable content should come in 16:9, which is supported by the projector as well, but if i were to buy a 16:9 screen and set the projector to that ratio, would I lose any image quality for not using the projector's native AR? Or would i be better off just leaving it in 16:10 and buying a screen that AR as well?

Are the AR concerns not a big deal, or should I bypass the headache and buy the native 16:9 projector, with the sacrifice to contrast and lumens?

Both projectors are the same price, so that isn't a concern. Thanks
