Isn't it possible to separate the order and have the 2 items shipped to 2 different locations, while still having them on ONE order? If so, you could ship one to a friend and bypass the rebate problem. I guess you'd still only have one receipt though, hrmmmmmmm.

As for the receipt part. Its a simple HTML file which you can alter with a html editor. (hehehe) .

Just read the rebate form. They said one per household or address. But they only need a copied of the receipt. Not the original.

Your sales receipt is going to have 2 drives on it and one address, whether you can send a photocopy or not.
When you send in the second one, they are going to recognize the address on the invoice is in their system already.

It will also raise a flag if you are sending a rebate to a different address than is on the invoice.

I tried calling Amazon CS about this last night to see if there was a way I could order two using the coup and have them them split them into 2 orders.......or order 2 separately then call up with the order #s and get the $50 credited.....alas NOPE !

He did mail me a $10 GC though "to help a little"

place an order for another one with your grandma or anyone else's address, but the one you've already used. cancel it. thus, 2 receipts, 2 rebates going to 2 different locations. works wonders.

is it illegal? you are prob asking yourself. nooo, cause it say one per household. second rebate going to another household, unless your grandma objects to it cause she wants to get into the mp3 burning scene and wants her own damn rebate
