Hey Guys, finally after many demands, I have decided to post a "personal" blog, as I have come into a little bit of a dilemma, and am looking for some help. As you all know the grad trip at reading week has been in the works for over a year now and looks like there will be a huge turnout of people. All the people on internship who were unable to go last year now will have the opportunity to all hang out without having to worry about school (damn midterms, didn't get to hang with you guys enough this past queen's visit!). Arya, Jay, Kaleb, Ryan, Porya, Jai, Arthur, Amir, Nisar and others...will make the trip tons of fun no doubt, just as we've had over the last couple years. Although with the internships, getting together was difficult last year, we can all recall the excellent times of second and third year.
Now for something that has come up more recently; over Thanksgiving, we as a family decided a family vacation is long overdue and with everyone away from home it'd be nice to get together for a trip. My parents are big fans of taking time off during the winter (for obvious reasons), and figured Queen's reading week would be a convenient time to go considering my sister's more recent enrollment there. Seeing how we haven't had a *real* family vacation since i was 16 (Trip to PEI; highly recommended), this trip would mean a lot to me and my family. With two kids out of the house and another one working part time; we all have our own priorities and responsibilities, making it difficult to integrate into each other's lives.
Therefore I am asking what you guys think I should do; this is honestly one of the most difficult things i've had to deal with considering the combined void of family and friends since starting my career. Huge dilemma...in need of serious help!!
