Two 4850s or a single 4870?

Looking at two different 4800 series cards, both made by Sapphire. I'm just wondering if I should get two 4850s that would run me about $400 CDN or just settle with a single 4870 at around $300 CDN.

What do you guys think, is it worth the extra $100?

2x 4850's will be faster in almost all cases than a single 4870. Of course, you'll need a bigger power supply, a CrossFire capable motherboard, and you'll have to deal with the inherent issues a multi-gpu setup can cause.
