Hey Guys. I just thought Id give yall a heads up. I just transferred to your team. I started over at XPC, then jumped to Free-DC, and now, have come to stay with you all. Hope you dont mind me staying a while, and maybe making this my home

I am bringing 5 systems to your FaD department, and soon another 2-3 after their all rounded up and repairs are made to 2 of em.

Also, Like I said, ill be adding a few more systems too, most are PII/PIII 700-900MHZ each...depending on processors i can find cheap or free, as i use all donated parts to make my FaD systems.

How does that celeron 2.0GHZ do?
There has been a few of us looking at getting a couple.

Do you mean the Celeron M or the mobile Celeron? I have a mobile Celeron 2.0GHz Compaq. It is sloooooow. Although having only 256MB RAM and a slow HD do not help. It never completes any FaD units because it is never on long enough at a time.

Nice group of people here and you should take the time to look at a bunch of there other forums, it will take awhile with all the neat links. You'll find me listed as JTWill on this team and you will knock my 2 machines back a position. But I dont mind a bit.

That 2.0 is the mobile. But the lappy its in is loaded now. Has a healthy 512md ddr, 40gb hdd, and runs only FaD/XP/Nero for burning cds for the car. Other than that its not to great...gets like a 140-160 rating for FaD.
