Hello, I have a GeForce MX 400 that have twin VGA outputs. Its called TwinView. My problem is when I enable the use of the second monitor I get a discoloration on part of the second monitor. I already installed Nvidia's lastest drivers. The OS is windows 2000. Is there a fix to this? Please help, Thanks.

Discoloration on what part of the monitor? Have you tried it on another monitor? It could be a harware problem, but it's hard to say. Try re-installing the drivers.

just a wild guess here: Do you have both monitors next to each other? Most of the time they kick off some mag-waves that distort colors, especially if one monitor is not shielded well. Same with speakers by the way.
Then again, this might not apply to you.

The two monitors I am using are both 15 inch LCD panels and exactly indentical to each other. I suspected it was a hardware problem on the second LCD panel so I swapped the primary and secondary VGA outputs. The result was the previously primary LCD gets the same band of discoloration with the secondary being just fine. I do have speakers near the LCD panels but they are shielded. I never has this problem until I got a second LCD and enabled TwinView. So I'm stumped. There is a possibility that the video card is a defect but I wanted to verify that the cause was not from me.
