Twinview Issues in NT4 w/GF2MX 400

I just threw a Inno3d Geforce2 MX 400 w/Twinview in to my PC at work. It is a:

p3 800
256 megs ram
20 gig HD
onboard sound and nic etc....

When I run twinview with a vertical res higher than 768, i get ALOT of noise on my second monitor. I know it isn't the monitor, as I'm running dual Dell P780's. On a single monitor setup, or on clone mode, I can get up to 1200x1024 no prob. I've changed drivers, as I was running 12.41 originally, and I just tried going with 7.52 to see if it'd help, but no such luck. I've checked the connection a couple times, and there is no issue there.

So what could it be? Help me out!

Well, got some more details here. It isn't the monitor, cuz when I switch my monitors plugs, it only happens to the monitor connected to the daughterboard with the second vga out.

Here are the settings I can run w/o noise on the secondary monitor:

2048x768 @ 85hz
2304x864 @ 70hz
2560x960 @ 60hz

Anything with a higher refresh than specified has HELLA distortion to it. 2560x1024 doesn't come clear at any refresh rate. Keep in mind, it's ONLY the secondary monitor that has probs.

Any ideas?

i'm having a lot problems with my twinview as well. it works fine at 1024x768, but anything higher and both monitors will flicker.

there must be a resolution cap but i can't find any stats for the twinview resolutions.

btw, i'm using the asus a7100 2vid/1dig connection.

my comp:

1 gig athalon
512 ram
asus a7v mb
Win2000

Differing the resolutions and refresh rates is not an option, right?

Loose/damages connector on the card for the second display?

Space between the displays?
