Twinmos PC3700 - any good?

i am going to buy 1gig ram [2x512] for my new machine - asus a7n8x with xp2100+; i plan to o/c
i was going to buy the OCZ pc3200 EL stuff which i know is very fast, when i noticed new twinmos pc3700 with 4.3ns modules.
My question is simply as they are roughly the same price [twinmos slightly cheaper] which is the faster of the 2 and hence which to get.
The pc3700 stuff is rated CL2.5; i had assumed that despite this is should run fine at CL2 at ddr400 - is this is valid assumption or not?
Does anyone have any experience with this twinmos ram? i am tempted because the higher rating alllows slightly more future proofing with the 40omhz processors i thought.

I look forward to your input.

I haven't heard good stuff about their PC3700 at all. Perhaps they'll need to release a new revision because plenty of people around the AOA and AMDMB forums are not getting results from the TwinMos PC3700.

Their PC3200 is still the best price/performance stick out there.

Love my 512 meg stick of twinmos pc3200 @ 200, 2-2-2-6. 🙂 Are you planning on pushing much past 200mhz fsb?

not really, but if i get a revision 2 board [when i find one!] and 200mhz chips are about i figured it would be a level of future proofing to have the highest rated ram i can for when i want to overclock THOSE....
i am planning on buying a gig of the stuff...
