Link These are the same chips used in the Corasir XMS series. I've heard nothing but good things about them. These folks actually called me when what they thought I had ordered (TwinMos w/Twinmos chips) was not in stock and offered me the Winbond chipped ones. You can specify that when you order. Overall, they haven't arrived yet but dang, I think that's the first time an etailer actually called me. I feel special. :D Yuk yuk
2 x 256mb + 2nd day Airborne = $159.79
New Price $63

You can also get it at Showtime computers. $69 for 256M and $129 for 512M plus shipping. I don't know anything about these guys and there aren't any reviews of them on Reseller Ratings or Bizrate. They are listed as a reseller on the Twinnos website though, that's how I found them.

You have to call them to verify price and availability and I'm not sure if you can specify what chips you want. From what I've read on other forums, people with the Epox 8rda+ have generally had as good or better luck with the Twinmos versus the Corsair. And at for less money.

If anyone orders from these guys, be sure to post back here and at Reseller Ratings. I probably will once I have the money for my next rig.

This memory is CL2.5. For much the same type of memory, you can get 512 it for about $99, or for 20 bucks more than that get 512 at CL2. I'll post a link within a day or so to this memory.

You mean the latest is mine. They seem to sell some obscure types of memory and have problems with customer's and their memory compatibilty. Considering some of the rants you'd have to see that the customers are prolly confused, at least in some cases. This place was recommended at AOAforums where I read my 8rda+ info. And again, a working phone line with out long waits and their willingness to call the customer seems notable and almost unheard of. I suppose it helps to be sure of what you want and what you're buying first. ;)

TwinMos modules rock. I can say this from personal experience and the experiences of those at AOA and XS forums.

They have the same thing with re-labeled chips for $59. I've read reports of this stuff doing well over 200 fsb at Cas2.

You can ignore the CAS ratings somewhat when you get good memory from a good manufacturer.
This stuff is a good example of that.
In testing this PC3200 CAS2.5 always performs as good or better than top of the line Corsair PC3500 sticks.

There are really only 2 brands of memory to get if you want the best made today.
Twinmos or Corsair, and with Twinmos priced about 30% less, it's easy to see the Hot Deal.

You can still get a 512 single stick of Corsair for that at googlegear ???? seems to be a different deal but not hot. IMHO

No reason why not. The sticks I recieved were twinmos branded chips and the spd states 240 mhz,10,5,5,3. Must be 4.5 ns, but my mobo does not say and it isn't marked on chips.

Though I've never heard of them, I decided to take the plunge and bought 2 TwinMOS 256mb modules. Can't wait to see how these perform :D
