Twinmos = horrible customer support

so my ram went bad, i went to the twinmos website to get contact info

under Info, they list an email address and a telephone number to call for an RMA

I first call the number, they guy (in somewhat broken english) tells me that they dont do RMAs over the phone. Ok, kinda weird that they give you a phone number to call but thats cool

so i send them an email

Over 48 hours and no response

So i decide to call during their regular business hours (9pm - 6pm). I call them at 4:30 and what do i hear? you have reached twinmos after business hours, please try again during regular business hours.

WTF? and on top of that, no advanced RMA

glad i went with OCZ for my new ram...

I had terrible support from them also. Luckily NewEgg agreed to allow me to RMA my bad memory to them.

Screw you TwinMOS. :thumbsdown:

Its interesting that there RAM has no english speaking reviews....
I did a Google search.....all i got were sites from Eurpe and Asia...

I have almost no experience with OCZ service, they are still a fairly new company. I have been dealing with Crucial for many years now, they have been good to me every time I have called and their products are just as good as the service.

I had a problem/question about Corsair memory. Called their tech telephone source three different times and always got the voice mailbox response. E-mailed the RamGuy, their e-mail tech support and got a response in less than two hours. I'm impressed. Corsair products also top notch.

My twinmos has been running fine for 8 months @ 24/7 now with no problems. :crossesfingers;

i call them up again, the guy picks up, asks for my firm name, puts me on hold, comes back and asks for my last name, and hangs up on me :confused:

Companies are the some of the funniest people ever.

Im going to check my warranty and check out my sticks individually with memtest when Im out at work.
