Hello all,

I didn't see this listed here so I figured I would give everyone a heads up about it. I know it's only 2700, but 512mb for $63 ain't to shabby.

I never heard of Twinmos brand memory until recently. How does Twinmos compare to Corsair and Crucial? I see that Corsair memory is very expensive, while Crucial is a little cheaper than Twinmos...

From other threads it looks like twinmos has some good support. You can also do a search for twinmos on the hotdeals forum, there are at least 3 threads regading this ram, and so far most people seem happy with it.

Unfortunatly, I got in on the PNY $19 for 256 PC2700 deal, and those sticks won't even do 333 at default setting

sooooo tempting, but newegg has OCZ performance series (512 stick) for $110 and free 32mb pen drive. these OCZ chips go well above 200 Mhz . but thats a really really good price for pc2700

I bought a gig of Twinmos/Winbond PC3200 from them. Ended up having to rma both sticks (starting to wonder if the problem was my old board) which I think was just a fluke. I've heard very good things about Twinmos with the winbond chips which are the same corsair has been using. Very good customer service though. I'll probably be ordering another 512 this weekend.

I had issues running Kingston ValueRAM PC2700 on an A7N8X so I sold them.

Bought 2 512MB PC3200 sticks from these guys.
Had to pay tax, but no shipping, since I was able to pick it up.

It's running at 200Mhz without a problem and my 2100+ tbread is oc'd to 2600+.
166FSB.

I'd recommend them.
I saw their wholesale price list... too bad I couldn't get the sticks for those prices.

mine just came, they show you a picture of PC3200 on the site, because that is what they send you when you order PC2700. Now I have a question, my MB supports PC3200, but I had just goteen a stick of PC2700 right before I got the motherboard, would I be better of with just 512 PC3200 at full speed, or should I use both for 1 gig running at PC2700?
Thanks,
Sirg

Better deal depends on your point of view. Twinmos is one of the recommended memory modules for the ASUS A7N8X board. That board is 'chip' picky. Also, my experience with Mushkin is that their value modules are just that. Don't expect to push them at all. I will say that Mushkin has some of the best customer service. I'm in on this one. Thanks!

Damn, I was too slow on this deal. Now that exact same memory is twice as much there.
