Ok she's done Smile Took about an hour to clean the card and install the cooler.

1. This thing is dead silent. I set it all the way to 50% and its still almost dead quiet. I left it
at 40%.
2. Its idling now at 28C That's down from about 38-40. So a good 10C drop.
3. Load about 45C that's after playing BF2 for about 30-40 minutes. So it almost loads at what
the card used to idle at. So again that's about a 15C drop from load.

Installation was pretty simple. I put on the ram sinks and got a blow dryer and heated the tape up a bit and let it sit for about 10 minutes then installed the cooler. Everything installed fine, no problems. And all the rams sinks are included, from the memory to the vrm to the regulators. You can control the fan speed from the CCC. All in all this is one awesome cooler. And it doesn't take up too much space either...

Hey, is your 5870 at stock clocks? Also would you be willing to get a screenie of occt gpu test and gpu-z? Im really interested to see if the VRM temps stay under control with this cooler.

My 5850 at 850/1200 clocks hits just over 100C on the VRMs, the actual gpu only barely hits 80C.....thats on stock cooler at around 50% which is pretty dam loud. :/

Super Cool!! :D

Going to check if I can find this at ncix or another Canadian retailer. My 5870s are way too loud when gaming and these should do the trick for me. Too scared to go with water, something about the idea of water running through tubes in my computer is just too much for me too handle...

Thanks for highlighting this product.

I know ncixus has them in stock so I'm sure the Canadian website does. I'll be back with GPUZ temps and screen shots...

One question, once this is installed, does it make the card wider ? There is hardly any clearance between my two cards with the stock coolers, if this sits higher on the card than stock, won't work for me as it will hit the other card :/
