God I can't wait, just getting it on blu-ray is going to be awesome but [a ton of] new footage? Seasons 1 & 2? And the movie? And in HD? Shitloads of extras? More of David Bowie's bizarrely intoxicating character? Sign me up.

The only downer is that [I think] all the new footage is material that was cut from Fire Walk With Me, not the show - which means that I think it's likely we won't see any sort of [additional] resolution to Season 2's original ending. But at the same time there was so much fascinating stuff in FWWM that wasn't expanded upon either - Chris Isaak's character, David Bowie's character, the relationship between the crooked cops in the "other town" (the name escapes me), and the inhabitants of the Black Lodge all spring to mind.

Anyone else still have Twin Peaks fever?

I watched Twin Peaks a few years ago, and the movie. Overrated, like most of Lynch's work, IMO.

It should have ended after
Ray Wise in the interrogation room

I'll probably still watch this

Saw the announcement for the new Showtime series yesterday - very excited. It's still unfortunately 1-2y off, but no surprises there. Though with it set allegedly 25y after the events of the original, I'm really curious what it'll be about - hell a lot of characters will be dead naturally at this point lol.

The major point which I hope will be addressed (and almost surely will be) is the end of S2 with "good Dale" trapped in the Lodge and "Bob Dale" (something like that) back in the real world. Also I'd love to see/hear more about Major Briggs and his work as it relates to the Lodge/Cooper/govt.

Man wouldn't it be some shit if the new series is Twin Peaks in shambles and ruins, ravaged by years of rape and murder as "Bob Dale" masquerades as Agent Cooper whilst committing the crimes and the town decays further as it's unable to keep up with a rapidly evolving economy and world.
