Hello to all. I have a question; would anyone be interested in a large LAN party, or a meet 'n greet? I've noticed that there are quite a few people here either from the Twin Cities, or close. Back in my old BBS days, we used to get together a couple times a year to see who was on the other side of the monitor

No big deal if no one is interested, just thought I'd test the waters with the idea. Please post here or PM me with your responses.

Well, just because it's compaq, doesn't mean it won't work for a LAN party (though you'd have to not mind all the looks and heckling)

Still, if we went with a meet 'n greet kinda thing, we wouldn't be bringing computers

I think the twin cities LUG has LAN parties every once in awhile... but I doubt anyone from this board is in that

I know we could do something at the Stomping Grounds or somewhere like that. I've heard that's pretty cool, though I've never been myself. Anywhere would be cool, even a corner bar just to have a couple frosty ones and swap hardware stories...

Just thought it might be nice to meet some AT'ers that live nearby.
