I wonder if you can drive this at the VIR Ariel Atom driving experience. If so, it would be worth the $800-$1,600. Especially since you wouldn't have much to spend your money on after you are dead, so the cost is negligible.

:p I've thought about mods to my car that would give it that much HP, but my car ways 4,200 lbs.... A world of difference :p

I appreciate power in a car as much as anybody else, but I draw the line at a power to weight ratio that would make my eyeballs hurt :D

Put F1 wheels/tires on it, and I'd believe it could begin to approach putting that level of power down effectively. :D

It sounds ludicrously fun, but even the stock Atom had so much power/weight that it would flail wildly pretty easily. I'd imagine that full throttle at less than 50mph on anything other than a perfect straight/perfect track is going to result in unintended lateral acceleration ;)
