Actually, it is not about God taking credit for anything. It is, like the OP has done, people mistakenly attributing apparent good fortune to the grace of God. "This is a miracle" the OP had stated. "May they be blessed..."

No, it wasn't a miracle. It was damned bad luck that had nothing to do with God. Had the miners actually been found all alive and well, it still would have had nothing to do with God. That's all I'm trying to say.
