Tweaking P4 3Ghz

Any ideas on tweaking this as much as possible? I'm currently produce about 2 wu every 3 hours on this machine. HT is enable and 2 processes are running.

It's still not complete yet.
Computer has the 2 cd burners, DVD drive, and 5 internal HD. (4xSCSI and 1xIDE). Have another 160GB IDE drive still haven't installed yet. Pent 4 3Ghz, 800Mhz FSB, 1GB LL Dual Channel DDR memory from Corsair. The speakers are Creative Megaworks THX 6.1 surround speakers.

I'll be getting the Plextor PX-708A DVD burner for Christmas...

Is this what a typical P4 3Ghz machine produces? I also have a dual proc Sun box I'll soon be setting up also. Is there any recommended method in setting seti up for that?

So, what do you think of my room so far. I do have more stuff to add down here, but I'm waiting for my carpet. Once that's in place, I'll place everything else.

Oh, I keep hearing that seti is ending... Any idea when?
 
That sounds about right for a non-overclocked P4C 🙂

Of course if you overclock a bit it will bring those times down 😉

As for when Seti is ending...who knows! Some reports were autumn (fall) of this year, but the only people who know are Seti@home themselves! Just keep chugging away at it, all will be revealed soon enough!!
