OK about five minutes ago I discvered the wonders of Catalyst Control Centre and played with the fans because I was not happy that the default temp was like 60 degrees. So I put the fan speed up to 60 and WOW its loud? Then using Auto Tune, the tuner automatically sets itself to MAXIMUM overclock, obv due to the fan tweak. Its so loud it doesnt sound healthy, which leads me to my question.
If my card is running at 30 degrees or whatever unusually low temp with the fan tweaked, is there actually any danger to my card dying or losing life because of overclocking AND making the fan run too fast? If I set this fan to 100, I fear I might have the Feds round because of noise pollution!
Also will it have any stress on my other components (due to the fact the card is probably asking for more voltage)?
Will my fan die because its going too fast for too long, is it possible that I can stress it too much?
And finally, might I incur a slight increase in my electricity bill?
