Tweaking Fans and Overclocking

OK about five minutes ago I discvered the wonders of Catalyst Control Centre and played with the fans because I was not happy that the default temp was like 60 degrees. So I put the fan speed up to 60 and WOW its loud? Then using Auto Tune, the tuner automatically sets itself to MAXIMUM overclock, obv due to the fan tweak. Its so loud it doesnt sound healthy, which leads me to my question.

If my card is running at 30 degrees or whatever unusually low temp with the fan tweaked, is there actually any danger to my card dying or losing life because of overclocking AND making the fan run too fast? If I set this fan to 100, I fear I might have the Feds round because of noise pollution!

Also will it have any stress on my other components (due to the fact the card is probably asking for more voltage)?

Will my fan die because its going too fast for too long, is it possible that I can stress it too much?

And finally, might I incur a slight increase in my electricity bill?

What ATI card are you using? Just curious. No though, you can set the fan to whatever speed you want and it won't make a damn difference. Shutting your computer off and having the fan stop, then start-up again when you power on actually does more damage to the fan than having it run at any speed. Fans are made to spin, and as long as they are fed the voltage they are designed for (which is what the software uses), you'll be perfectly fine.

I really ought to post my specs in my sig but I never post often enough to warrant it. I am using a Gigabyte 1gb 4870 - and not the one with the crappy Zalman cooler - this is the one with the full graphic and cover (and its actually pretty rare). I bought this card from Play.com for a mere £170 - about £60 less than it was meant to go for - and after I got it in the post Play.com had upped the price on their website to £250 LOL. I think they just MIGHT have made a tiiiiny mistake.
