Tweaked drivers for 7800GT/??

nope. They are BUTTER. best IQ/performance combo in any driver yet, by far. Plus I don't know what they did, but these babies are ripping FEAR a new bunghole, mine went up almost 20fps. 84.12s IQ may have been very slightly better, but performance wasn't quite as good, and TRU-tweaked 84.20s are really, really close in IQ with better performance.

everyone is eagerly anticipating the bastard love-child of the 84.12 and 84.20 (crosses fingers)

I get BSODs when I try to use hardware accleration for playing video and random crashes when gaming . . . I had to switch back to 81.98 . . . but it seems I'm in the minority . . . 😛
 
Ive been with Tru for about a couple months now, from 81.98.v2-->83.90.v2-->84.12.v2-->84.20.v2. Right now XG 84.20.v2 is undoubtely the best driver out, it gave me 8-10fps average boost in F.E.A.R and up to 20fps at maximum! NFS:MW gave me a solid 10fps higher, 3fps extra is CS:S, and all around smoother gameplay for BF2(although i havent benched it feels that way). Those are basically the games that benefit most from the driver, IQ is pretty dam nice(but not as crisp as 84.12.v2's). I suggest you dl them and try them yourself!
