I was just looking at the Majorgeeks website (it's the firsttime i've ever been there) and i saw this Tweak-XP Pro 4.0.1 and my question was if its better than Tweak UI?....

And if anyone knows a better freeweare or shearware site that you can please point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

I've always had problems when using xteq. It combines settings for features in all ms operating systems when only certain ones are relevant for each. Its also often difficult to know what the current settings are before changing them, as the items that are checked/unchecked aren't always reflective of the current settings. Its a powerful tweaker, but I haven't had many success stories with it, and without having a better handle on it, its very dangerous.

I've been using it since day one and rarely had problems with it across many hardware platforms.

Of course I've used gpedit.msc since 2000 for most things. Xteq is good for those scared of using the built in policy editor and is good for changing things not found in the policy editor. If one is stuck in the 9x realm (ugh!) then Xteq is invaluable.

Cheers!
