Tweak UI - Optimize hard disk when idle conflict?

I never noticed the option in Tweak UI that allows the system to optimize the hard drive when the system is idle before. It is enabled by default so I've been allowing this to occur all along. What I'd like to know is do the optimizations conflict with the optimizations provided by Diskeeper Pro? I'm hoping that they compliment each other as M$ uses Diskeeper as the foundation for it's own defrag utility but I'm uncertain...

I've been looking into this issue recently also because I'm trying to disable MS's process. If this process runs while I'm using my tv tuner then when I shut down my tv tuner application my pc will crash. I'm guessing it's because MS's process moves or deletes temporary files that the tv tuner application was using.

Do you know the registry setting that controls it? If you do then you can change it manually instead of using TweakUI. I actually just installed TweakUI hoping that it would let me disable this process. But like you said it doesn't.
