tweak for usb frequency

i saw in nlite that gives option to up the usb freq. from regular 125 to 250 and 500 (for mx5xx series and razor.. etc)

but is there stand-alone tweak utility for that function outside nlite?

 
This isn't the USB frequency. It's the rate at which the MOUSE ITSELF produces data packets.

Note that it's entirely pointless to have the mouse position updated more often than the screen refreshes. Your screen refresh rate? 75 Hz? 85? 100?
 
then why does 500hz polling feel smoother than 125hz?

also i remember seeing graphs produced by an app called usbmon? smooth circles when a razer was spun around with 2000 dpi and 500 hz poling. polygons only at 125 hz.
