So any chance this wil become commonplace? Might be nice to ditch the htpc, or at least make it less "difficult" to watch my networked videos...

I don't suppose it'll become mainstream for a while if it did, but would be interesting.

The thing is since Android is mainly a touch interface...you'd have to have like a Harmony remote or something possibly to actually work it right.

Just because it runs on Android doesn't mean you get to mess with it.

The OS isn't the problem with you watching networked video. DRM is the problem. If it wasn't for DRM then anyone could design and release chipsets to play back media and hobbyist could write their own code. It would be home theater pc heaven.
Too bad that is just a fantasy.

Logitech Revue is supposed to get Android 3.1 update soon.

Brand new price at Amazon has dropped to around $200 or even lower sometimes.
