Hi,
I am using Ubuntu 9.04, the video card is ATI Radeon 9200 which has a 7 pins S-Video output. I would like to direct the output from the computer to a TV. The TV can receive: S-Video, composite and component cables.
Q1. Can I use a regular S-Video cable? I bought this computer used, I don't know if there is any special cable that come with the ATI Radeon 9200 card, but I don't have it.
Q2. I will try to find some tutorial how to do TV output with Ubuntu. If you have already succeed in this configuration, I would like to know if the computer will display the video on both screens (the computer screen and the TV) or only one display can be used at a time?
Q3. I have another computer where the graphic chip is integrated on the motherboard. The MoBo video output is VGA and DVI, that my TV doesn't have. What is the recommended solution to accomodate an onbard graphics with TV output?
Thanks very much in advance for any help.
