TVout not working on GF3 TI200

I can't seem to get the TVout to work on my PNY GF3 TI200. I am using the cable I got from my GF4 TI4200 and have tried 41.09 as well as 40.72 detonator drivers but it won't let me switch to TV mode (it's greyed out). I swapped out my Ti4200 for the ti200 without reformatting or reinstalling drivers (41.09). I think that the card might be defective because sometimes in windows the screen will start to flicker and roll but then disappear a little. I am guilty of a little overclocking but never for extended periods of time. It seems to be fine now however. Is there anything else I can try? Also, my computer locked up after installing the 42.01 drivers and the 30.82 drivers for some unknown reasons. It took me about 30 mins of fiddling around in safe mode of removing the drivers and installing them until I finally reverted to the 41.09 drivers that I had. So, do you guys think the card is just defective or would a reformat help maybe? Thanks.

Maybe you need the "WDM" drivers from NVidia, I know I had to install those to use my video-in on my Ti4200 card.
they come on the driver disk from the factory, and you can install those seperate from the detonators.
check your device manager under (I think) Sound Video and game controllers for NVidia reference.

if there is none, you may need to install those drivers.
but I could be wrong, it may just be hardware driven. I haven't tried it like that, but my Video-in would not work without those drivers installed.

I have the same EXACT card and the same problem. Never got TV-out to work. I just gave up after a while.

Probably the drivers then.
you need the WDM drivers for the card. I had this problem too on my Ti4200 until I installed the drivers and like 6 new things came up in device manager.

Installed the WDM drivers but the Video Capture device failed. Is it supposed to? Theres a yellow exclamation mark by it in device manager but all the other drivers installed fine. TV out unfortunately still doesnt work =(
