Hi, I have Grundig 22 vle 445bg TV.I installed Linux on my 13 years old laptop. When I connect it to my TV the tv screen start to flicker because Linux configure it to 1920x1200 and refresh rate to 75 Hz(my graphics card can only produce 60 Hz and maximum resolution is 1024x768).When I set to 1024x768 and refresh rate 60 Hz picture on TV is normal.Could wrong refresh rate damage my TV??

I suppose leaving it in the flickering state for a long time might cause some damage, but I doubt you're hurting it if you're immediately changing the resolution and refresh rate after connecting the laptop.
