TV Wonder help (playing *.mp2 files?)

The default "good" quality recording setting for my tv wonder uses the Mpeg-2 (*.mp2) format, but when I try to load them with WMP 8 it try's to download codec's, but then fails. And if I try the TV Wonder file player I get a "can not load file" message. Anyone know what's wrong? Do I need to install any codec's?

You need to install the DVD player for the codecs even if you don't have a DVD ROM. Then you should be good.
