TV vs Monitor 32"

I have a need for a 32" monitor for work.
It would be hooked up to the VGS port of a laptop (HDMI next round of computers) It would be partially used for Career fairs so I was thinking instead of using a laptop, I'd use a flash drive in the USB port to show slideshow images.
Any thing I should consider when picking a TV for a monitor?
